Andrew M. Khoury, MD
“For without compassion, medicine is merely science.” Dr. Khoury has lived by those words since he started his career as an emergency medical technician. Today he is board-certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and in interventional pain management, and he founded Advanced Spine and Pain Specialists in The Woodlands and Liberty, Texas.
He has extensive experience with minimally invasive techniques that treat pain at the source, including kyphoplasty, dorsal root ganglion and spinal cord stimulation, peripheral nerve stimulation, intrathecal pump therapy and indirect lumbar decompression for spinal stenosis. He also uses his anesthesiology training to run an in-office ketamine infusion protocol for hard-to-treat pain.
With published research of his own and years of volunteer work, Dr. Khoury works alongside his peers and his patients toward one goal: a better quality of life.
